Dear precious prayer partners,
“Do you believe that I am able to do this? According to your faith let it be to you”. Matthew 9: 28-29
“The doctors have said I am losing my baby, will you pray for me?” Bailey asked. “Do you believe Jesus is able to heal you?” I asked. “Yes”, she said. It was right out of His Book. Therefore, I expected the same result. “I have a blood clot separating the placenta from the uterine wall cutting off the circulation to my baby,” Bailey said. “She is losing weight and not expected to live.” “I want to anoint you with oil and pray Jesus will touch and heal your baby”, I said. She said, “Please do.”
So, we anointed her with anointing oil, I carry on my keychain, and prayed in Jesus name to touch and heal her that very Sunday at church. “I went back to the doctor the next month,” Bailey said, “and he saw that the huge mass of blood had broken up into three parts. Two weeks later the blood masses were gone and Rosemary, the name she gave her yet to be born baby, was gaining three ounces a week.
On our way to the General Assembly of the Church of God, being held in Orlando, FL., we decided to stop in and spend the night with our friends, Pastors Charles and Dawnita Istre. What a surprise God had waiting for us there. After service a young woman came up to us and said, “Do you remember me? My name is Bailey and you prayed for me when I was losing my baby?” “I sure do,” I said. “Well, she is here and I want you to meet her”, she said.
Disappearing to the back of the church for a moment, Bailey, Jason, and their new arrival, Rosemary came forward to give witness to God’s miracle of answered prayer. We said a prayer of Thanksgiving and blessing on this new arrival and she is a great witness to those who are waiting for God, and BELIEVING for His touch on their lives.
These are the kind of newsletters I love to write. Testimonies of His goodness and faithfulness to His word and promises.
We know many are waiting for God to answer their long held prayers. We know that in the midst of our waiting we sometimes get discouraged. That is why God sends His miracles of encouragement to us, such as little Rosemary, whom the doctors said was not to be. “Do you believe that I am able to do this? According to your faith let it be to you”. Matthew 9: 28-29
We say, “Yes Lord,” even when all looks hopeless. “Yes, Lord I believe”
How about for a simple tooth?
“It is amazing to me how a tooth can suddenly get your full attention. Three of our Media Focus friends and partners sent gifts for the Chaplains fund and dental work. This amounted to $800.00. The total bill is $1,800.00, so we were able to start procedure last Monday with a root canal and a broken tooth that was down to the nerve…Also, good news that several other partners have sent gifts of increased amounts, to help. We were also contacted by one person who has been led of the Lord and never given to our ministry before, to send in monthly support now”. Pastors Johnny and Patty Probst, Media Focus Ministries.
Now that’s what I’m talking about. We are called to all be ministers in our own way to one another. “He who Honors Me, I will Honor.” 1 Samuel 2:30
We know the hardest part of the seven things God has taught us to do, as we wait for His blessing and touch, is to BELIEVE and TRUST. Thank God if you have reached the level where the first five are easy and a daily practice. You are so close to seeing your answer come to pass.
“But, without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must BELIEVE that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6
“TRUST in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Those who practice the first five things outlined in our book daily are so close to seeing your prayers answered. Hang on…A BIG blessing is just around the corner for you! Little Rosemary is the living proof!
